  • Our Mussels Mariner with White Wine Herbs Cream Sauce

Other popular appetisers are the “Escargot La Suisse” and mussels in herb sauce. If your weakness is for soups, try the lobster bisque or mushroom soup. For the main course, you can’t go wrong with the braised beef ribs with merlot – four large beef ribs braised in a smooth, creamy sauce of herbs and merlot. The meat is tender and juicy, and comes easily off the bone. The merlot in the sauce brings out a soft, warm feel in the texture.

The grilled rack of lamb is another item that stands out. The rack is grilled to a light crisp around the edges and left slightly underdone in the middle. A crust of basil, rosemary, oregano and garlic encase the rack, all of which is grilled lightly again before it is served.

The popular fish dishes are “Grilled Fish Medallion” and the “Halibut.” The grilled fish medallion is topped with a creamy mushroom and white wine sauce, and served with fresh spinach.

If you have space for dessert, forget the calories and simply savour the “Hot Red Wine Cherries” with Cinnamon and imported Swiss vanilla ice cream, or “Crepes with Hot Cherries” and imported vanilla ice cream.
